- Functional English: This course focuses on developing practical English language skills necessary for everyday communication. It includes grammar basics, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, listening skills, and writing simple, coherent sentences. The aim is to enhance students' ability to communicate effectively in both personal and academic settings.
- English Exposition: English Exposition emphasizes improving advanced writing skills, particularly for academic and creative purposes. Students learn how to construct persuasive essays, craft compelling arguments, and write with clarity and coherence. The course also develops critical thinking and the ability to articulate ideas effectively through written expression.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: This course trains students to communicate confidently and professionally in various settings. It covers verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, public speaking, and effective presentation techniques. Students learn how to structure speeches, design engaging visual aids, and adapt their communication style to different audiences and contexts.
- Technical Report Writing (Theory and Lab): This course focuses on teaching students the principles and practices of creating professional technical documents. The theory component covers structuring reports, using precise language, and adhering to standard formats. The lab component provides hands-on experience, allowing students to draft, edit, and present technical reports using software tools. These skills are vital for creating user manuals, research papers, and project documentation.
