I am Mariam Khan, Lab Demonstrator in the School of Applied Sciences and Humanities (NUSASH), National University of Technology, Islamabad. With over 8 years of experience in academia, my primary research interests lie in Material sciences, Energy and Environment. I am passionate about exploring how nanomaterials are developed by various synthetic techniques and can be used to solve global problems, particularly pertaining to energy and environment.

I have experience of synthesizing metal oxides based materials, their characterization and applications as electrocatalyts for energy generation. My recent focus has been on the photocatalysis, solar cells, fuel cells by employing eco-friendly and stable materials to overcome energy crisis and environmental problems.
