Dr. Muhammad Asim

Assistant Professor (Mathematics)

Introduction:

  • I am Dr. Muhammad Asim, an Assistant Professor in the NUTECH School of Applied Sciences and Humanities (NUSASH) at NUTECH University. With over 2 years of experience in both academia and the research, my primary research interests lie in Harmonic analysis and Dynamical System. Analysis within specific spaces such as , Sobolev spaces, Besov spaces, Hardy space, and Herz-Morrey spaces (with both variable exponents and constant exponents) plays a pivotal role in understanding harmonic functions and operators. My teaching philosophy emphasizes strong theory and practical skills for success in a changing tech world
  • Assistant Professor, NUSASH, (2024–Present)
    • Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering departments.
    • Serve as a faculty mentor for students.
  • Visiting Lecturer of Mathematics, Quaid I Azam university, Islamabad (2022–2024)
    • Teach undergraduate mathematics courses in different departments
  • Visiting Lecturer of Mathematics, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), Islamabad (2022)
    • Teach Postgraduate mathematics courses.
  • Research Associate, Quaid I Azam university, Islamabad (2019–2022)
  • Research Associate out of HEC Research Project No. 7098/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2017-

Title: On the continuity of some integral operators on function spaces.

Research

My primary research interests lie in Harmonic analysis and Dynamical System. Analysis within specific spaces such as , Sobolev spaces, Besov spaces, Hardy spaces, and Herz-Morrey spaces (with variable exponents and constant exponents) plays a pivotal role in understanding harmonic functions and operators. This analysis provides insights into boundedness, existence and uniqueness, regularity, and wavelet characterization.
