Dr. Muhammad Nouman Sattar is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad, Pakistan. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Hanyang University, South Korea, with a specialization in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. His doctoral research focused on developing a probabilistic framework to characterize drought propagation between meteorological and hydrological droughts. His research interests include drought risk assessment, climate change impacts, and sustainable water resources management, highlighting his expertise in addressing complex water resource challenges. He has published numerous research articles in reputable international journals. At NUTECH, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervises research projects, and actively contributes to curriculum development and quality enhancement initiatives.
